Lets Get Back To Work

PEOPLE MUST GO BACK TO WORK.  I don't think most people have thought this through very well. The authorities and many others are all saying to stay at home because of the Coronavirus. What is the end consequences of staying at home?

It is a good chance you will run out of money because you can not work. Many people are losing their jobs and businesses because they can not go to work. We sometimes think a business has lots of backup money, but many are like most workers and live month to month with a huge amount of overhead. What are people going to do if the government decides to stops printing money to give away or they somehow run out? With no pay and no government assistance, they will get evicted or foreclosed, they will run out of money and will not be able to buy any necessities of life like home payments, groceries, utilities, gas, car payments, etc. How does anyone live with no income?

Do you have savings to pay your bills? Is the government going to support you the rest of your life?

The Coronavirus has killed some people, but nowhere near the number of people that they claimed it would. The cure that the officials claim of staying at home, could have far more devastating consequences indirectly associated with it such as the stress of losing your business and/or home, complete loose of income, etc. The amount of stress is going to be huge. Stress in and of itself is a killer. How about suicide from losing your business or home that you have worked your whole life for. Maybe your entire savings for your retirement you have gone due to the stock market crash due to all of this.

Many things can have deadly consequences, but most people understand the consequences of many activities. We do not close the whole economy down for any other issue that kills people. The regular flu has many more deaths than COVID-19 and does not have any known vaccination for it. Almost all prescribed drugs have side effects and many can and do cause death. How about if you get in your car, how many people get killed by driving. Do they do away with driving because many people are killed each year due to driving?  There are many things that cause death, that no matter what you do, can not be avoided,  it is just a part of living and accepted by society.

It is irresponsible for authorities to keep people from going back to work because a person has to have money to live. WE MUST get back to work, or I believe many more than the project deaths from Coronavirus could die or have very serious long term deadly consequences
.
Don't always believe what you are told, always look into the matter and compare what you are told with reality and the end results of things.

What Does God Say About Homosexuals?

What Does God Say?

I recently was listening to an interview of a person that said he was a evangelical homosexual, so I got to thinking about it  and though I would just see what God had to say about it. Can a person be both a evangelical Christian and a Homosexual at the same time? I know it is most politically incorrect to even question something like that, but God is not politically correct and it is always best to see what he says about things before we relabel, justify or classify anything. There is only one truth, despite what anyone says.

All truth is derived from God's Word. God says that the wisdom of this world is foolishness and can bring eternal destruction to our souls. We are living in a time where not much weight is put on our soul, but what fells good to our flesh only. The older you get the more you realize that this life is very short and eternity is eternal.

I would rather do what ever it takes to know and be obedient to what God says and spend eternity with him. Recently I read a biography of a somewhat famous person that said that if given the choice of going to heaven or hell, he would for sure pick hell over heaven, but if you read the description of hell in the Bible, I assure you, it is the last place you would want to spend eternity. It says it is a place of eternal torment, a place of weeping and nashing of teeth. So if you are in your right mind, you do not want to spend eternity there.

God loves sinners and sent his son Jesus to pay the price for who so ever would repent and call upon the name of Jesus would be saved. God also hates sin and without Jesus, we have no hope of eternal salvation, only the judgement of hell.

As you can see from the scriptures below, God looks at homosexual activity as sin, it is sin, but no different than any other sin. An adulteress, murderer, lier etc are also sin and to continue to live in any of them with out repentance, will separate you from God for eternity.

1 CORINTHIANS  6:9-10
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

ROMANS 1:26,27
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet

Lev. 20:13

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination

1Ki. 14:24

and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the Lord drove out before the people of Israel

Matthew 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Please if you are involved in any of the sins mentioned here or any other sin...REPENT and turn from your sin and into the loving hand of God and through His son Jesus, He will forgive and cleanse you from all sin and unrighteousness. Don't believe the lie of the world, all un-repented sin is deadly and will condemn you to HELL.

John 3:16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 36 The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him

What Then, Shall We Sin?

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield (relinquish possession of) yourselves servants to obey,
HIS SERVANTS YE ARE TO WHOM YE OBEY; whether of sin unto death, or  obedience unto righteousness?

This scripture is basically saying that continued sin has a consequence to it. If we continue in it, we become a slave to it. Of sin unto death (spiritual and/or physical) or not living in sin (righteousness) unto LIFE.

SIN is a big deal because the Bible from front to back addresses it. It is the cause of the fall of man in Genesis, the judgement of God on it throughout the old testament and the redemption of sin through Jesus in the New Testament. Sin is just as harshly dealt with in the New Testament as the Old, but to those that repent and accept Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins, there is true redemption. The redemption that Jesus paid for our sins is not a license or ok to remain in sin, just as it says in the verse above that if you obey it, you will become a slave to it and it will bring spiritual death.

There are many warnings in the New Testament as to the severity of continued sin in one’s life. Jesus said that if your eye or hand cause you to sin, to pluck it out, or cut if off, for it is better to enter into eternal life lamed than to go to hell in one piece.

Today most do not even know what sin is, because it is most often not even mentioned in most churches except that our sins have already been paid for past present and future, with no mention that we should not live in it or what it really is or the consequences of living in it.

What is sin? Many today do not really know what constitutes sin. Sin is doing things that God has commanded we not do.

GALATIANS 5:19....Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God

DEFINED:

Adultery. Greek: moicheia ( G3430), unlawful sexual relations between men and women, single or married ( Mt. 15: 19; Mk. 7: 21; Jn. 8: 3; Gal. 5: 19). SEARCH YOUR LIFE AND SEE IF ANY OF THESE APPLY TO YOUR LIFE…..God will not hear you if you continue in sins and iniquities. (If I regard sin in my heart,
the Lord will not hear me: Psalm 66:18)

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh:for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness ROMANS 6:17

No Man Shall See God Without Holiness

Pursue peace with all men and holiness without no man shall see God. Hebrews 12:14

Are you living a life that is pleasing and holy before God?

Do you plan on seeing God?

Are the things of this world more important to you than God?

The love of God may not be with you.

Examine your life, eternity is way to long to burn.

Iranian Christian Facing Execution

When asked to "repent" by Iranian judges, Youcef stated, "Repent means to return. What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?" The
judges replied, "To the religion of your ancestors, Islam." To which he replied, "I cannot."

Steve Job's said it well....

Steve Job's said it well....
It’s obvious that Jobs spoke the truth in his 2005 commencement speech:

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important thing I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life, because almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”
In the light of eternity what is really important to you. One thing is for sure you can take nothing with you...even all the accolades of man, all the achievements, all the money...it all remains. So what is important to you in the light of eternity. REMEMBER as Steve Jobs said you will die.
Jesus said "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matt 16:26 [KJV])
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE IS NOT YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS HERE ON EARTH, BUT WHAT YOU DO NOW FOR ETERNITY. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT ETERNITY.
(John 14:6 [KJV])
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(Matt 7:21 [KJV])
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Once Saved Always Saved?

At a church my family and I recently attended, the preacher got up and said that he was a Baptist because first and foremost he agreed with the doctrine of "once saved always saved". He went on to say that salvation was a free gift from God and the he did nothing to obtain it and he could do nothing to lose it.

Well he was right in one thing...salvation is a free gift from God, but he was very incorrect in saying that he did nothing to obtain it. If he really did nothing, I would say that he is not saved. You see the gospel does not say anywhere that we do nothing to obtain it, for if that was the case, then everyone in the world would be saved and we know that is not true.

To become and be a Christian,

First, we by our own will must accept Christ into our heart, something we must do on our own.
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him. (John 3:36 [NET])
This as you can see "the one who believes and the one who rejects" indicates something we have to do.

Second, is we must repent.

Jesus said, I tell you! But unless you repent, you will all perish as well! (Luke 13:3 [NET])

Third, we have to take up our cross daily and follow Christ
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. (Matt 16:24 [NET])

Forth, we must keep His keep His commandment.
Jesus said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” (Matt 19:17 [NET])

Fifth, we must forgive
But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins. (Matt 6:15 [NET])

Sixth, you must not love the world or the things of the world
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1John 2:15 [KJV])

Seventh, you MUST love God with all your heart mind and soul and Love your neighbor as yourself.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.(Matt 22:37-40 [KJV])
As you can see, I did not make up any of these, they came directly for the Bible.

To say that all you do is accept Christ and you are a Christian without any commitment or obligation on  our part, is a complete misrepresentation of the Gospel.

To say that we can say some prayer of acceptance of Christ into our lives, and we forever more are sealed and secure in our salvation and nothing we can do will allow us to loose it, is just not true. Many people will end up in hell believing this partial truth.

Why would there be so many warnings in the Bible warning us not to sin, such as when Jesus warned that it would be better to pluck out your eye or remove any part of your body that continued to cause you to sin.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Matt 5:29 [KJV])
Unrepentant SIN does and always will, keep you out of the Kingdom of God, I do not care how saved you claim to be. If you confess your sins, He is faithful to forgive us of all of our sins and to wash us from all our iniquity. If you do not confess and forsake them He will not forgive you your sins. You must turn away and forsake them

Many have a incorrect understanding of Grace. Grace is the ability that God has given to be able to repent and be totally forgive. Grace is not the ability or licenses to continue in unrepentant sin.

Once Saved Always Saved is a false doctrine that I believe is a tool of satin, and will cause many people to live in sin, thinking that as long as I can make it to heaven I will enjoy myself now.

Many well meaning Christians, like the preacher today I believe, have not thought this out correctly and need to take a look at the Words of Jesus.

The Bible does say that if you are truly walking a righteous life not living in sin, abiding in Christ you are secure in your salvation and no man can pluck you out of the hands of God.
